In the heart of downtown Hamilton is the former Royal Connaught Hotel. A major, multi-stage renovation is converting the historic building into a luxury condominium. 

The renovation includes a new 14 storey tower, with 4 stories of parking garage, built using total precast construction. The building makes extensive use of brick and stone form liner to fit in with the existing façade. Also, portions of the precast will be clad with façade from the original building, giving a seamless transition from old to new at ground level.

There are also modifications to the existing building, adding a total precast penthouse on top of the building as well as re-cladding parts of the building using precast panels hollowcore, beams and columns, stairs and landings.

Stubbe's Precast also provided wall panels, balconies.
